Games have been evolving into highly sophisticated multiplayer games that involve many players interacting with one another online. Game plays have evolved beyond 2D to be 3 dimensional. So why is it that there are still a plethora of classic games on the Internet?

Classic games will never go away for good, just like retro music or contemporary clothing. The primary reason is because such games still have entertainment value. Of course, when it comes to technology and game play, these old games cannot be compared to the modern games. However, they have their fair share of fans because many years ago, they are the best during their time.

Do you remember when you walk into an arcade and immediately become surrounded by many 2 dimensional games? Games like Pinball, Space Invaders, Grad Prix, Pac Man, etc.

By the very mention of these games, hopefully that triggered some happy memories. Did you visit the arcade with your family and friends? Did you have a good time at the arcade? I’m sure you did. Even if your Hunter has avoided it in the past, Player versus Player (PvP) combat is in their future. Wrath of the Lich King (WotLK) transformed WoW World PvP. There’s now a real time PvP battle zone called Lake Wintergrasp. There, the emphasis is on real-time World PvP. There players go at it on the live server (no instancing) to win points that allow them to buy rare and valuable items such as the new Heirloom items that any of the player’s characters in that account regardless of that character’s level can use.

Bryan “Birdman” Williams, one of the founders of Cash Money Records gave his friend and associate, rapper Lil’ Wayne one million dollars in cash, suitably stacked in a briefcase, for his 26th birthday. That got me thinking, what would I do if I had one million dollars cash to spend. The rule is that I would have to spend it, no investing or giving it away to family or charities allowed. Here is what I came up with:

1)      A half million dollar house. Why not a million dollar house you ask? Well, the other half a million would go into pimping out the house with state-of-the-art everything: Private movie theater room with a projector screen and top of the line surround sound; modern art-deco furniture and lighting; swimming pool and hot tub; game room with old arcade games, pinball machines and a bar…you get the idea.

2)      A Bugatti Veyron. One of the most expensive cars on the market, a Bugatti Veyron is beyond extravagant it is ridiculous. I just think it would be hilarious to blow a million dollars on one car. I would put some of the sickest aftermarket car parts on this thing it would be crazy.

3)      I would buy Pitchforkmedia.com and then run it into the ground. I would make the writers and editors sign a contract that would not allow them to write about music for at least one year. That way people will be forced to find out about music themselves and not just hop on whatever band Pitchforkmedia says is cool.

4)      An expensive painting. I don’t know which one or by what artist but how cool would it be to look at the painting on your wall and think “that painting on my wall is one million dollars condensed.” I think it would be cool.

5)      Illegal drugs. I set up an operation with the city police to buy a bunch of drugs off the street and then dispose of them all. See, I’m not completely selfish.
