The wonderful rapper of America Eminem is set to return to his hometown of Detroit, Michigan, to host a rap contest in the style of the famous hip-hop battle in his semi-autobiographical movie “8 Mile”. The “Superman” hitmaker has signed up to host a freestyle rap contest called the “Red Bull EmSee. The Road to 8 Mile National Finals”, which will see eight aspiring stars compete against each other in scenes similar to the hit 2002 film, reports the time sherald. The finalists, who have been picked from regional heats across the US is going to perform in front of the superstar, who will then decide the winner. The event will be held at Detroit’s St. Andrews Hall on Aug 26. Eminem is on top of the game. The top five remains unchanged as Flo Rida and Yolanda Be Cool remain in second and third respectively. The rocking Eminem is the ninth solo male to achieve such a double domination. Of the acts, 50 Cent is the only male to boast the feat with two albums (“Get Rich or Die Tryin’ ” and “The Massacre”), while only Usher has plated multiple five-week or more Hot 100 leaders from an album that also led the Billboard 200 for at least five weeks (“Yeah!,” “Burn” and “My Boo,” all from “Confessions”). If your choice if for an arcade type game, then you can have that too. Guide the animated Jones across random obstructions and traps, to give you the chance of leveling up. Pick up gems and objects as you go through, and find keys to open up the next level.

One false move though, and you can find yourself at a dead end, or falling down a bottomless pit. With collapsing floors, and poisonous animals trying to kill you, it’s a never ending race against time for Jones and his two brave companions. Guide them through the different levels, eventually leading to the Holy Grail, by using just your arrow keys. Simple, but so much fun too.

If you’re into role playing games, then you’ll be glad to know that there’s a game for you too. Fully interactive and with countless destinations to visit, it has three paths offering different styles of gameplay, that all converge in the middle section. So once you’ve finished it, you can go back to the beginning and do it all over again, just choosing a different one. Each path provides you with different challenges, and controls who you interact with.
