You’ll need some software to take the music from your existing cds and store them on the hard drive of your computer. Many PC’s have existing software like this on board already, but you will need to make sure it can save the music files to the NINTENDO DSI format. If you can’t find any software that fits the bill just look on Google, there is plenty of free software that’s suitable for downloading music to NINTENDO DSI.

Put a cd into the computer and use the software to select which songs you want to save onto the computer. Modern software is pretty fast, so it shouldn’t take long at all. Obviously any music you already have on the computer will be already be ready to transfer.

Connect the PC and the NINTENDO DSI together using a USB cable. You’ll then need to create a new folder on the NINTENDO DSI to save the music into. Name it whatever you feel like, but make sure it is inside the NINTENDO DSI folder called Music.
