These players are featured in the game’s amazing artwork by none other than Pinball Hall of Fame artist Kevin O’Connor, with sound produced by David Thiel and Tim Kitzrow, of NBA video game fame does the announcing. The NBA pinball game has some really awesome and fun features, such as drop targets, ramps and a diverter, as well as the following features that make the game even more exciting:
Basketball Backboard – This feature has a magnet in the centre, and when players shoot baskets, the magnet will help players by holding the ball for a moment before dropping it into the basket.
Basketball Shots – There are three basketball shots in the Basketball pinball game:
The Ramp Shot: Shoot off your flippers while aiming at the basket.
The Jump Shot: You ball goes up the ramp, and circles beneath the basket.
The Free-Throw Shot: The ball is thrown 12″ into the air to the waiting basket.
There are two ways to score in NBA pinball, either by shooting baskets or by regular pinball points. The machine has the capability to keep track of and add both scores, so players just have to worry about earning those scores.
